Sawtooth Engineering provided engineering for the exterior metal panel façade and cold formed steel framing. The building will be residential, with the exception of a small retail space and first floor library. The building core is concrete which created a challenge with the metal panel connection. The concrete was installed up to 1” away from where it needed to be. Sawtooth was able to come up with a design, during the construction phase, that saved months in fabrication and construction time for the GC.
